Project Assistant
Entry Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry, Business Administration, Project Management, Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism Management or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
- Served in a related position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
- Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance.
Duties and responsibilities include;
- The Project Assistant will support the project management Unit in the execution and coordination of project activities, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide administrative, logistical, and coordination support to the project team to facilitate the timely and effective completion of project tasks and milestones.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
- Maintain and updating project documentation and records and ensuring its security
- Manage correspondence and communication with stakeholders.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for project team members.
- Organize project events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project reports.
- Liaise with team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinated and well-organized project events, travel arrangements and preparing travel itineraries
- Regular updates on project timelines and deliverables.
- Attending to visitors/clients and handling customer inquiries and complaints;
- Managing Office petty cash
- Provide regular updates and progress to the Project Manager
