Sales Engineer (Steel)
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate Sales leads and enquiries, review and understand the project requirement
- Prepare costing, generate commercial offers/budgetary offers, execute the daily sales activities etc,.
- Support technical and commercial discussions, negotiate the Contractual terms & Conditions
- Handle business with EPC Contractors/ fabricators
- Direct tenders of end-users/authorities and manage the entire tender process
- Responsible to develop new Sales leads & acquire new customers to support realizing the budget & achieve the growth targets
- Explore the New market / Products and geographical expansion opportunities
- Closely track the Projects and Identify new / upcoming projects in the region
- Pre-qualifications of mills whenever needed
- Provide insight of market development & trends, price evaluation, competition analysis, current & future target projects and forecast on volume/revenue /Gross margin to support in decision making and strategies to set future growth plans.
- Collect market intelligence for steel products
- Understand customers’ technical requirements thoroughly
- Visit key decision regularly.
Qualifications:
- Mus possess a relevant bachelors degree in engineering
- Must have 2-4 years of experience in Steel Sales
- Must have strong presentation skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to research and keep on top of industry development.
