Orthopaedic Trauma Technician (Plaster Technician) III – 4 Posts
Requirements for appointment
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Be a holder of a Certificate in Plaster and Trauma Technology from an institution recognized in Kenya;
- Must be computer literate
Duties and responsibilities
The Plaster Technicians shall be responsible to the employer and the Supervisor for the following;
- Offering Plaster Services;
- Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health matters;
- Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities;
- Coaching and mentoring students on attachment;
- Collecting and compiling data for research on plaster services;
- Ordering and monitoring usage of Plaster commodities;
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
