Engineering CAD Designer
This main purpose of this role is to ensure that designs are well-thought-out, efficient, and compliant, leading to the realization of innovative solutions and the organization’s continued growth and success.
- Design Development: Use CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D engineering models, translating conceptual designs into precise technical drawings for light gauge structures, and echo houses,
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, project managers and construction managers to understand project requirements, provide design insights, and ensure seamless coordination throughout the design process.
- Innovation: Contribute to the development of new design concepts and product improvements, leveraging your creativity and engineering expertise.
- Technical Documentation: Generate comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Design Optimization: Analyze designs for performance, functionality, and manufacturability, making necessary adjustments to optimize the final product.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough design reviews to identify and resolve potential issues or discrepancies.
- Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of design milestones.
- Cost-Effectiveness: by optimizing designs for efficiency and manufacturability and assist in reducing project costs and improving the organization’s overall competitiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in CAD design technologies, materials, and construction methodologies to continually improve design processes.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project objectives and deliverables.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and efficiency within the CAD department.
- Participate in design reviews, offering insights and suggestions for design improvements.

- Education: Diploma in Building and Construction, civil engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: 2 years of Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your structural design projects.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using CAD software such as Frame CAD, Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structures, or similar tools.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, building materials, and construction methods.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve design challenges effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to produce accurate and error-free FRAME designs.
- Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Technical Sales Representative
The main purpose of this role is to drive technical sales in the assigned region within the construction and building industry, in line with sales targets, and contribute to business growth by leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Actively pursue, convert, and close projects across all the company’s product lines in line with set sales targets.
- Receive and provide technical product information to walk-in clients in the showroom for the assigned region as applicable.
- Identify and understand clients’ construction needs in collaboration with the FTS team to generate responsive quotations for clients.
- Negotiate product pricing with potential clients in line with the company’s pricing policies, considering technical specifications.
- Prepare quotations for potential clients in line with clients’ construction requirements, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Make regular follow-up calls to clients on generated quotations to provide technical insights and close the sale.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure confirmation of clients’ payment and provide technical support for invoicing.
- Coordinate the dispatch of clients’ goods in collaboration with the dispatch team to ensure timely delivery, considering technical requirements.
- Make regular field visits in the assigned region to identify potential business opportunities, providing technical solutions.
- Conduct after-sales follow-up calls with clients in the branch to assess and address their satisfaction levels with company products and services from a technical standpoint.
- Develop and maintain lasting business relationships with clients in the assigned region to ensure a sustainable pipeline of business.
- Create and maintain an up-to-date database of consultants, architects, engineers, and other relevant professionals to ensure a sustainable pipeline of potential clients.
- Receive and resolve technical customer complaints to ensure timely closure, collaborating with the FTS team.
- Conduct market intelligence activities to gather technical data on the market and competitors for use in management decision-making.
- Prepare daily technical sales reports and weekly pipeline reports in a timely manner and in line with requirements.
- Undertake any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
The Sales Representative is:
- Directly accountable to the Sales Manager for assigned region.
- Required to work with Finance and Operations department.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management, Marketing, Strategic Management, or any related field with a technical emphasis.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales, marketing, or business development within the construction and building industry.
- Must have Valid driving license (class B, C, E, F, & G).
- Strong experience in the construction industry with a deep understanding of technical aspects.
- Technical qualifications and certifications relevant to the construction industry would be highly desirable.
- Proven experience in technical sales and/or marketing, with the ability to manage relationships with key customers in the construction industry.
