As part of the Data and Technology services practice, you will be working with the data analytics and reporting requirements of a major US bank as part of Acuity’s Center of Excellence model.

Desired Skills And Experience
Very strong SQL, preferably Google BigQuery
Experience in planning and building data marts
Sound database knowledge
Good to have experience – Google cloud
Key Responsibilities
- Build data marts for Consumer/Retail banking. Need a strong hold on building queries in Google BigQuery
- Translate client challenges into actionable business intelligence solutions by partnering with the subject matter experts at the bank
- Expertise in understanding the technical and functional designs for databases
- Acquire proprietary data from on-prem data warehouses
- Perform data preparation activities in support of analytics, reporting and automation. Develop and manage bespoke extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. Create centralized, analytical data marts across various projects to support analysis across multiple business units.
- Require excellent coding skills.
- Manage data flow from major database platforms such as Google BigQuery, Oracle etc
- Understand the logics of various business fields/columns and implement them
- Make modifications to the logics based on user requirements. Also, undertake data mart requests.
- Experience in migrating reports from one platform to another platform.
- Experience of understanding the framework of on-prem database structure and the related tables/views.
- Maintain extract, transform, load (ETL) processes connecting data warehouses to analytical platforms
- Create centralized and bespoke data marts and evaluate ongoing automation of underlying manual processes
- Investigate underlying data sets and derive actionable analytical insights using quantitative techniques
- Study and research on the domain functionalities to add value to the analytical findings
- Ensure meticulous documentation of processes, meta data, query logic, and results
- Perform balance & control, testing and/or other validation activities to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure quality of data, analysis and reporting of the overall process
- Building good rapport and trust with client
Key Metrics
- Over 7-8 years of relevant development experience in SQL and Google BigQuery.
- Masters / bachelor’s in computer applications / technology, bachelor’s in engineering.

- Efficiently lead the client calls on a daily basis
- Be proactive and independent, able to work on projects with minimum inputs from senior stakeholders
- Evaluate and ensure quality of deliverables within defined timelines
