Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking, the Head of Corporate Domestic Banking will be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Domestic Banking Department. The job incumbent will be responsible to formulate, implement and coordinate strategies for this segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously review & maintain the lending portfolio so as to maintain a diversified client base, in line with macroeconomic conditions and the Bank’s strategy
- Monitor and identify possible problem clients and ensure that appropriate recommendations are made for sufficient provisions on non-performing loans
- Lead, inspire and coach a team of high-calibre professionals, creating succession to key roles and enhancing the Bank’s management capability
- Build and maintain relationship with strategic partnership for future opportunities
- Execute the Corporate Asset and Liability banking strategy as approved by the Board
- Advise on lending policy to the Bank’s Corporate clients
- Perform any other related duties as may be required
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Finance/Banking/Accounting or any other relevant field
- 10+ years of banking & financial services experience including 5+ years in leadership role
- Sales and customer relationship management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire set of Corporate Banking solutions
- Ability to work accurately, under high pressure, within fixed and short timeframes
- Results and quality-oriented, with project management skills
- Build & optimise stakeholder networks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
