Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

As a result, the department of Education invites applications for interested students who meet the requirements as listed below:
- MUST be a Kenyan and a resident of Migori County.
- He/she MUST have attained a minimum of 300 marks for boys, 280 marks for girls and 250 marks for People Living with Disability (PLWDs).
