QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course from a recognized institution; a Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in network management in a network of 200 plus users.
  • Certification in Mikro Tik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or similar qualifications.
  • Sound knowledge of network architectures implementation, firewall configuration concepts, and dynamic routing.

Tutorial Fellow

REPORTING TO: HEAD OF DEPARTMENT, COMMUNICATION STUDIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • MA in Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Film Studies,
  • Development Communication, or any related field.
  • 3 years of teaching experience at a university, preferably in Mass Communication, Journalism, Film Studies, and/or Development Communication Courses.
  • Ability to mentor and work effectively with students of diverse academic strengths.
  • Participation in curriculum development and/or review.
  • Experience in journalistic writing, reporting, editing, and video production.

Data Analyst

REPORTING TO: DIRECTOR, QUALITY ASSURANCE

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, management science, computer science, information management, or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in big data analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language
  • (SQL) and JavaScript will be an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and tests.
  • Extensive experience with statistical packages such as Python, MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS

Senior Library Assistant

REPORTING TO: UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Seven (7) years’ cataloguing experience in an academic library.
  • Knowledge of bibliographic control principles and practices including MARC, AACR2, LCHS, and LC.
  • High Level Computer Technology skills with experience in Intergrated Library
  • Management System (KOHA) desirable.
  • Team player with strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Capability of multitasking and working with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
