Lecturer – Distributed Systems and Mobile Computing
Requirements for Appointment
- PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from a recognized/accredited University with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level or in research or in industry
OR - A Master’s degree qualification (Should be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral Degree qualification);
- Must have published at least three (3) papers in peer-refereed journals or three (3) chapters in a scholarly book or one (1) scholarly book;
- Be registered or registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable);
- Demonstrated potential for teaching and research;
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lecturing in area of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
- Coordinating course projects and practical work;
- Preparing teaching/learning materials;
- Setting, invigilating and marking examinations/assignments;
- Carrying out research work in relevant field or specialization;
- Preparing students progress reports;
- Developing proposals for research funding;
- Writing journal articles and books;
- Presenting academic papers in conferences/seminars/workshops or symposia;
- Developing and reviewing academic programmes/curricula; and
- Supervising students’ projects.
Lecturer – Statistics and Data Science
Requirements for Appointment
