Regulatory Reporting Officer

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Compliance Lead – Regulatory & Advisory, the Regulatory Reporting Officer will be responsible for preparing and delivering timely and accurate regulatory reporting, RBS returns, questionnaires and surveys as well as engaging with stakeholders in terms of gathering data and information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for accurate reporting to Regulatory and Statutory Bodies;
- Engage with business and relevant stakeholders to gather, analyse and validate data in line with regulatory requirements;
- Partner with business to ensure customer information are being correctly captured as per statutory requirements so as to facilitate reporting;
- Ensure timely submission of information and returns to Regulatory and Statutory Bodies;
- Assist with information requests from Regulatory and Statutory Bodies;
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties in relation to queries for regulatory returns from a compliance perspective;
- Embed process and procedures in relation to reporting requirements;
- Advise the business on the statutory reporting requirements;
- Plan and coordinate activities to meet commitment, deadlines and service levels with timely follow up on identified issues;
- Prepare and submit the Quarterly RBS returns in a timely and accurate manner;
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders with regard to the filing and submission of RBS returns;
- Assist the MLRO/DMLRO with queries in relation to RBS returns; and
- Plan and coordinate activities to meet commitments and deadlines
- Perform any other related duties , as may be required

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- A Bachelor degree in Banking or any relevant fields;
- At least 2 years of experience in the banking sector;
- Well versed with FATCA and CRS guidance notes as well as its reporting requirements;
- Comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered by the bank
- Demonstrate proven abilities with interpreting and applying AML/CFT standards and regulations
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Show ability to detail issues, in writing, in a clear, accurate and concise manner
- Have experience in compiling large volume of data and analysing results
- Show assertiveness and analytical skills with attention to details
- Have excellent planning, organising, and reporting skills
- Show ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision
- Show ability to adapt to changing work priorities, maintaining confidentiality, setting priorities, and working with detailed information/data
- Be well versed in MS Office Tools (particularly MS Excel)
- Show ability to work in a pressured environment and cope with the demand of working to tight deadlines
- Be a team player who is able to challenge and develop direct reports
- Show a high level of commitment and enthusiasm
- Have proven interpersonal, influencing and team working skills and the ability to communicate at multiple levels
Risk Analyst – Operational Risk, Risk Management Division
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Acting Chief Risk Officer, the Operational Risk Analyst will assist the Senior Officer – Risk in providing second line risk oversight through the delivery of key reporting and analysis on the risk exposures. The Risk Analyst will also support change initiatives and projects by providing the necessary expertise and by challenging to the wider business whilst also providing analysis and reporting to support these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the conduct of risk assessments and assist Business Units in mitigating identified control weaknesses;
- Develop Risk Management framework, policies and procedures and proactively recommend improvements to address emerging risks;
- Identify, monitor and report Key Risk Indicators;
- Ensure incidents are appropriately recorded with a comprehensive root cause analysis and monitor the implementation of remedial actions;
- Assist the Board and Senior Management with the identification of risk appetite tolerance levels and the implementation of appropriate systems and controls to measure and report against those tolerance levels;
- Perform periodical reporting to Senior Management, the Risk Management Committee and/or the Board;
- Conduct Risk Awareness workshops;
- Perform any other related duties, as may be required
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Risk Management or any related field
- 3 years’ experience in the Banking / Financial Sector
- Previous work experience in Operational Risk and/or Audit, Compliance, or other control functions in the financial industry will constitute an advantage
- Understanding of links with other risk disciplines and how they can operate together in a holistic enterprise wide risk framework
- Understanding of governance around Operational Risk Management including a practical understanding of the ‘three lines of defence’ Model
- Knowledge of development and trends in the Banking and Financial Industries
- Knowledge and understanding of the local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interact with all functions and levels of staff, including senior management

Risk Analyst – Portfolio & Credit Risk, Risk Management Division

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Acting Chief Risk Officer, this position will assist the Senior Risk Analyst in the delivery of key reporting and analysis on new lending and portfolio asset quality, risk appetite, adherence to policies and procedures. The position will also support change initiatives and projects, providing both expertise and challenge to the wider business whilst also providing analysis and reporting to support these initiatives. The objective is to monitor adherence to the Bank’s policies, procedures and prudential limits in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the credit risk management framework;
- Provide input in the review of credit risk policies and procedures on a regular basis and recommend improvement;
- Monitor the credit risk exposures for retail, SME, corporate and financial institutions portfolios;
- Support the development/calibration and maintenance of rating methodologies and credit risk parameters;
- Run scenario and stress testing analysis;
- Participate in the implementation of pre-emptive measures to ensure compliance with the changing regulations;
- Contribute actively to efficient and regular reports to Senior Management, the Risk Management Committee and/or the Board;
- Carry out the calculation of Expected Credit Losses for the Bank’s portfolio;
- Perform any other related duties, as may be required
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Financial Risk Management, Economics, Finance or related field with a strong analytical background;
- Confident in handling and analysing large amount of data – paying close attention to detail;
- Knowledge of Basel II, IFRS9 and Scorecards;
- Knowledge in the modelling of credit risk parameters (PD, LGD, CCF)
- Strong knowledge of risk and credit management in the banking sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suit
- Time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems independently, to show flexibility and to act proactively
- Previous experience in a similar position will be a plus
