Job Purpose:
To ensure that MCT, EACS, & SOCOPAO, deliver the targeted Budget Results whilst also maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall administrative functions of the Shipping BU.
- Oversee business development activities.
- Monitor shipping services to ensure that they are in line with customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Determine and meet resource requirements including labor, equipment and investments in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Establish and sustain relations with strategic partners including KPA, KRA, other government agencies and customers.
- Plan and oversee the execution of daily operational activities.
- Prepare annual budgets for the organization.

Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in a busy Logistics environment.
- Must have led in a senior role or lateral role in the Container Freight Station in the region for a minimum of 5 years.
- Must have a strong business acumen, financial acumen.
- Must have a well-connected network with stakeholders in the CFS, C&F and Shipping industry
- Visionary leadership to support in Decisions on operational matters and Internal staff redeployment.
- Negotiation and conflict management
- Master’s degree in Business
- Knowledge of Logistics-Clearing and Forwarding
