Finance Assistant – Payable
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The position is responsible for the timely execution of finance functions, revenue assurance and credit control.
KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entering invoices into the accounts payable system.
- Verifying prices and amounts received with invoices to ensure proper payments to vendors.
- Receiving and matching invoices, purchase orders and goods received notes.
- Follow up and resolve any outstanding invoices disputed in the statement.
- Ensure real-time supplier reconciliation against statements.
- Ensure petty cash posting and reconciliation for all branches.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of levies and taxes.
- Ensure proper identification and documentation of fixed assets invoices for capitalization.
- Maintain proper filling of documents and records.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Commerce or Business related course
- A holder of CPA part I
- At least 1 year of work experience
Audit Associate
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The position will perform the internal auditing activity and help the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform ongoing compliance assessments, testing, and monitoring and facilitate remediation of control deficiencies based on audit observations or findings.
- Support the implementation of the audit cycle and deliver risk-based projects 100%.
- Provide a balanced evaluation of audit results/findings and recommendations for improvement of internal controls and operating procedures.
- Ensure Company operations and procedures are as per regulatory requirements and Company policies.
- Provide sound analytical support for key financial reporting and decision-making.
- Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.
- Create efficiency in the revenue chain, recommend new and continuous innovative ways to create efficiency and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- A holder of CPA (K) or CISA
- At least 3 years of auditing experience
Finance Assistant – Credit Control
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The position is responsible for the timely execution of finance functions, revenue assurance and credit control.
KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all revenue is promptly and correctly receipted.
- Ensure daily submission of receipt declaration report.
- Respond to all general ledger reconciliations queries.
- Ensure minimal leakage through compliance and accurate receipting.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of intermediary statement of accounts.
- Assist in commission processing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Commerce or Business related course.
- At least 1 year of work experience
