Key Account Manager

  • Salary RangeKSh 50,000 – KSh 100,000/month

Responsibilities

  1. Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  2. Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to our competitors.
  3. Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  4. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  5. Should have an understanding of brand guidelines and able to communicate the clients’ briefs to the creative team/events team.
  6. Updates finance on monthly sales projections and follow up on payment for services delivered to the client.
  7. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  8. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  9. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  10. Head / oversee every project / campaign for client – from start to end.
  11. Always seek out inspiration; remains open- minded.

Qualifications

  1. At least 4 years proven experience as Key Account Manager/ Business Development Executive in a fast paced marketing agency.
  2. Experience in marketing and providing solutions based on clients’ needs
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels Excellent organizational skills
  4. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  5. BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  6. Communicate effectively as well as demonstrate active listening whilst developing appropriate influencing skills
  7. Be flexible, tactful, friendly, and sensitive to others, displaying good social and communication skills
  8. Take ownership of your self-development in completing and implementing your own Personal development plan (PDP), highlighting areas where further development is required.
  9. Be systematic and organized.
  10. Sell-in new methods, processes and seek revenue generating opportunities.
  11. ·Proven ability to create and expand network of contacts within a business.
