Job Details/Description
Duties and responsibilities;
- Clean and sterilize laboratory glass ware, surfaces and equipment
- Document and receive samples for analysis;
- Prepare laboratory reagents,
- Carry out chemical/ microbiological analysis on samples (food, water, waste waters and beverages)
- Extract, isolate and identify drugs, pesticides and heavy metals from biological and miscellaneous samples;
- Dispose laboratory waste.
Requirements for the appointment
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Diploma in any of the following fields:-
- Applied sciences (chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, industrial chemistry, Biology),
- Food science and Technology,
- medical laboratory Technology,
- Civil Engineering or Biotechnology from recognized institution.
- Certificate in computer Application skills from a recognized institution.
- 3 years’ relevant experience
