WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review the design of existing databases being used in Acronis products;
- Build highly available, secure and performance efficient database infrastructure in Acronis products to satisfy incoming business requirements;
- Help to define how components data should be organized, assist with database migration;
- Participate in migration scripts review and acceptance;
- Work closely with developers to help design the needed database structures, solve problems, and optimize the performance of key products;
- Mentor and train colleagues where necessary by helping them learn and improve their SQL skills, as well as innovate and iterate on best practices;
- Participate in DB-centric applications components design review process;
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 5+ years of experience OLTP workload programming and performance optimization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of relational database design and operation (normalization, denormalization, constraints, indexes, data sharding, etc)
- Experience in programming: SQL, PL/pgSQL
- Experience in PostgreSQL as DB administrator (tuning, performance troubleshooting, backups, monitoring)
- Linux OS administration skills
- Understanding of High Availability principles for databases
- Fluent English
Senior Automation QA with Python (Advanced Management)
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Developer with Python to join our team in growing R&D center in Bulgaria, Sofia, working on innovative technologies for the new company’s product Acronis Cyber Protect. This position is mainly responsible for implementing automated scenarios testing. This involves working collaboratively with all teams including R&D departments based in other offices. We are looking for a highly motivated person with strong desire to learn and dig deep and who is just as excited about innovation, technology and quality as we are.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, implement and execute automated test scenarios
- Maintain and design test environments required for tests execution and manual tests
- Analyze test results, logs and prepare reports, localize and file defects
- Participate in building of automated testing framework
- Ensure test automation design is traceable to requirements or existing manual test cases
- Work with other teams to understand the business requirements and logic, relevant use cases, scenarios and functional flows for the system under test
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 4+ years of developing test automation framework on Python for complex applications and object-oriented programming
- Strong Linux user
- Strong experience in Docker
- Strong understanding of HTTP / Authentication / Web services/ REST API
- Confident knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies and techniques
- Experience in using test frameworks in a CI/CD environment – Jenkins, Bitbucket, Kubernetes is a plus
- Fluent in English
Lead .NET Developer (Advanced Automation)
We are looking for a Lead .NET Developer to join Advanced Automation R&D team. The project is to enhance core Acronis Cyber Protect cloud product with automation capabilities and is strategic to Acronis.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Analyse, research and develop functionality to roadmap requirements;
- Participate design and peer code reviews.
- Develop of unit tests and planform features;
- Support QA team in technical matters;
- Overlook deployments and maintain the code after it’s deployed.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 2+ years as software architect/technical lead
- At least 5 year of experience writing well-designed, high-quality production code
- Solid knowledge and experience with .NET framework;
- Experience with MS SQL, stored procedures, MySQL;
- Knowledge of the principles of REST / RESTful;
- Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices;
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience or willingness to obtain one in JavaScript (Angular JS) or GoLang is a plus
- Fluent English
