Reflexologist

Duties and Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients and conducting an initial assessment.
- Explaining to new clients the principles and methods of reflexology.
- Applying hands-on massage to patient’s feet and to a lesser extent their hands.
- Instructing the client in self-reflexology techniques to be practiced at home.
- Keeping detailed patient notes.
- Setting out a plan of future treatment.
- Advising patients to seek mainstream medical treatment where necessary.
- Responsible for suggesting treatments for back problems, hypertension, digestive problems, insomnia and many others.
- To diagnose the body map for pressure levels and detect the acute stressed points.
- Setting up a life style questionnaire to enquire about issues related with diet, exercise and work related tensions.
- He has to identify serious issues like migraine, hormonal imbalance and stress related disorders before starting the reflexology treatment.
- Knowledge of the reflex points of hand, feet and body to provide accurate pressure.
- Ability to maintain the proper records of treatment and medical history of patient including all diagnosed reports.
- The person should have the sound knowledge of providing proper guidance to improve diet and do certain exercises.
- The person needs to be aware of time interval to stop the treatment when the stress is cured.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate in Reflexology.
- Diploma in Reflexology is an added advantage.

Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
- Promote patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Over two (5) years’ experience in a busy hospital set-up.
- Registered nurse with a Diploma in Nursing from KMTC or other recognized nurse-training institute.
- Valid and current registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, team building, conflict resolution and ability to deliver strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, email and utilization of the internet.
- Should be a team player and culturally sensitive.
- Strong communication skills: oral, written and presentation skills.
Clinical Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and high-quality clinical services including (Take/review the patient’s history to ascertain the right clinical examinations and treatment and prescription of treatment) to patients.
- Order investigation and interpretation of results for diagnosis and explain the results to the
- patients and the intended treatment.
- Diagnose and institute appropriate treatment, prescriptions, and carry out other treatment activities while ensuring that established treatment protocols are effectively followed.
- Refer patients to other departments for further investigation such as laboratory and x-ray.
- Attend to emergencies presenting to the clinic and recommend referrals for cases that cannot be managed.
- Ensure that all required observations and vitals, prescribed treatment and procedures are carried out and documented in the system.
- Create phenomenal patient experiences, including counselling and sensitizing patients through health talks on preventive and promotive health.
- Ensure effective clinical procedures, rules, regulations which are consistent with organization procedures and MOH guidelines.
- Handle patient data/ information confidentially at all times.
- Prepare the weekly reports and attend weekly clinic meetings.
- Ensure that the clinic environment is safe and complies with infection control standards.
- Actively participate in clinical training programs, including on-job training and skills building.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
- Minimum 5-year working experience in health set up.
- Registered with clinical officer’s council with Valid Practicing License is an added advantage.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, decision-making skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Swahili).
Laboratory Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing tests and accurate interpretation of results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Reporting all abnormal tests/critical values for verification.
- Accurate recording and storing of laboratory reports and registers.
- Follow proper infection control guidelines to minimize hazards caused by infectious specimens. Perform calibration and quality control procedures before performing tests.
- Participate in continuous medical education and other related trainings to keep abreast with new technology in market.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory sciences or its equivalent.
- Valid License from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians Technologist Board (KMLTTB) will be an added advantage.
- Position holder should have at least 3 years’ experience working as a licensed Lab technologist in a busy Laboratory and experience setting up start up medical Lab operations in a health facility.
- Excellent analytical reasoning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing high quality care and excellence.
- Ability to work effectively with a team in a culturally diverse environment.
- Ability to use initiative to solve problems is a key competence.
Administrative Assistant

- Maintain a supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

Marketing Assistants
