Job Description

General Workers

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the working areas neat and clean.
  • Personally, make health and safety a priority ensuring you comply with all health, safety instructions, comply with the policies, procedures of the Company and Work in a safe and orderly manner.
  • General work that will be assigned by the immediate supervisors in various sections in the plant(work instructions and training will be given during posting)

Qualifications and Experience

  • KCSE with 1-2 years Technical courses or related
  • 1-2 years of experience – Must have worked in a busy environment
  • Firefighting & HSE basic courses (preferred)

Required competencies

  • Must be organized and punctual.
  • Well-presented and professional.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage tim

Procurement Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Notify appropriate department of the placement of orders.
  • Ensure inventory is stocked and purchase order can be fulfilled.
  • Prepare the invitation-to-bid forms and distribute.
  • Compare prices and expected delivery dates proposed by suppliers.
  • Choose the best bid.
  • Compile records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories.
  • Determine cause of any delays en-route.
  • Match purchase orders with shipment.
  • Verify billed amount with goods received.
  • Handle invoices and forward to accounting department.
  • Monitor inventory control systems.
  • Prepare inventory transfer forms.
  • Classify priority regulations.
  • Handle requests for purchases.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Store keeping, Procurement and Supplies or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience – Must have worked in a busy environment
  • Good computer skills (working knowledge of ERP preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic stock taking procedures
  • Firefighting & HSE basic courses (preferred)
  • Proficiency in SAP, MRP 3 years progressive experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment.

Spanish Language Speaking Call Center

Responsibilities

  • Assist our client’s community and help resolve inquiries empathetically, accurately and on time.
  • Make well balanced decisions and personally driven to be an effective advocate for our community
  • Investigate and resolve issues that are reported on client platform such as requests for account support.
  • Respond to user inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy and accuracy
  • Gather, analyze and utilize relevant data to develop ways to improve the overall user experience on the site
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest solutions
  • Recognize trends and patterns, and escalate issues outside the company policy to the global team

Qualifications 

  • Between 18-35 years.
  • Must be living in Kenya.
  • Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
  • High school education mandatory. College education an advantage
  • Must be currently unemployed or working as a casual
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and most importantly empathy
  • High affinity and cultural awareness of political/social situation regarding the relevant market/region.
  • Must have NSSF, NHIF and KRA pin.

Accounts Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
  • Preparing Local purchase orders once approval has been received from the plant managers.
  • Doing filing and ensuring all accounting records are properly kept and that the records can be easily retrieved when necessary.
  • Raising sales invoices after receiving proforma invoices.
  • Collect and sort invoices.
  • Handle all accounting functions
  • Any other Finance department duties that may be assigned to him/her by supervisors/ management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • minimum of 2years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems and have a good understanding of MRP (material resource planning.
  • Experience with manufacturing standard cost environment.
  • Aptitude for relating manufacturing activities and processes to financial outcomes.
  • HSE basic courses (preferred).
  • Fluent in Excel.
