Reporting to the Team manager, Region the position holder will be responsible for RAN Maintenance and operations, Energy efficiency activities within assigned 100+ Safaricom Base Transceiver Stations in the assigned region to deliver an always ON network with an availability of >99.80%.

1)  Maintenance of BTs within the assigned region to maintain an availability of >99.80%
2)  Support and maintain energy efficiency initiatives and power equipment.
3)  Handle Customer Complains within the assigned region
4)  Manage maintenance and rollout MSPs for the region to ensure quality works within the assigned region.
5)  Manage the Costs and maintain H&S standards for the assigned BTSes.
6)  Acceptance of new elements within the Radio Network infrastructure.

1.  A minimum of bachelor’s degree in IT, telecommunications or related fields
2. Willingness to unlearn, learn and relearn.
3. Work and execute under minimal or no supervision
