Salary: £12.03 Per Hour (National living wage)
Contract type: Fixed term for 10 weeks (paid work experience)
Hours: 14 hours per week (2 days per week)
The RNIB is the leading UK’s sight loss charity helping blind and partially sighted people thrive. The Research and Insight team conducts research into a range of areas including lived experience of sight loss, education, employment and travel and transport, with a role to provide insight that shapes RNIB’s strategic thinking and decision making.
We are looking for someone to join our team to help us measure and demonstrate the difference RNIB makes to communities. Do you have an interest in research? Would you like to improve your research, communication, and planning skills? If so, this would be the opportunity for you.
This role could be an ideal placement opportunity for someone studying, or someone who has recently graduated from a degree in social sciences, or a subject that incorporates research skills. You will get the chance to assist with the research cycle including concept, delivery, and reporting.
The successful applicant will have a good standard of IT skills, including MS Office – Excel/Outlook/Word, as well as excellent attention to detail, and solid communication and organisational skills.
This role is funded specifically for candidates who experience sight loss, and we are looking forward to receiving your application, if this applies to you. Previous placement holders need not apply.
