Job Summary
Are you looking for a full-time Tax Associate role in Nairobi? Bon & Drew Associates is a consulting firm that offers a variety of professional services, including Accounting, Tax Consultancy, Financial Management, Business Advisory, and Management Consulting. We are seeking a qualified candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or any other business course from a recognized institution. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of work experience in handling tax matters and hold a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CISA, CFA, or any other.
As a Tax Associate, your responsibilities will include preparing and filing tax returns for companies, partnerships, and individuals, researching and staying up-to-date on tax issues to offer advisory to clients, consulting with clients, building and maintaining relationships with clients and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), among others.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting or any other business course from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years work experience handling tax matters.
- Professional qualification ie CPA / ACCA/ CISA/ CFA or any other.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and filing tax returns for companies, partnerships, and individuals.
- Researching and keeping up to date on tax issues to offer advisory to clients and assisting with tax audits.
- Consulting with clients, reviewing their tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.
- Carrying out tax risk and opportunities reviews
- Building and maintaining relationships with the client and the KRA
- Liaising with the relevant officers at KRA on various tax and policy matters
- Assisting clients prepare for and resolve KRA audits and statements of accounts issues.
- Preparing objections and appeals to KRA assessments. Assisting in the firm’s business development through responses to RFPs .
