Duties:

1. Basic Function of the Position:
   • Perform manual duties including proper loading, unloading, packing, and care of property transported to and from the Embassy, residences, and other locations.
2. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
   • Prepare furniture and equipment for transfer.
   • Unload and position items in the warehouse.
   • Handle requisitions for furniture, supplies, and equipment.
   • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the storage areas.

Qualifications and Evaluations:

1. Experience:
   • One year of warehouse experience is required.
2. Job Knowledge:
   • Must know the location of supplies and equipment in the warehouse.
   • Must learn the location of offices and residences and basic General Services office procedures.
3. Education Requirements:
   • Completion of elementary school is required.
4. Language:
   • Level III English (Good working Knowledge, reading/speaking/writing) and Level III Kiswahili (Good working Knowledge, speaking/reading/writing) are required.
5. Skills and Abilities:
   • Must be able to perform physical labor and operate Materials Handling Equipment (MHE).
